Firefighter focused. Community powered.
Utah’s First. Salt Lake’s Own.
We raise vital resources for Salt Lake City’s firefighters and advocate for the work of first responders in Utah’s Capital City.

Supporting Public Service. Sustaining Community.
Salt Lake City Fire Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to support the work of the Salt Lake City Fire Department. We mobilize Salt Lake City’s caring community to support the crews that protect us—because public budgets don’t always cover the resources needed to train and equip the nearly 400 individuals serving the department.
Our Mission
To strengthen Salt Lake City’s Fire Department through trust-based partnerships and community engagement.
We provide critical resources and comprehensive support that enable firefighters to prepare effectively, respond professionally, and impact positively.

Operations Equipment
The advanced and innovative equipment firefighters use to protect our city.
Firefighter Health and Wellness
Resources dedicated to first responders’ physical and emotional recovery.
Medical Equipment
Needed to support medical emergencies, which account for well over half of fire departments’ calls.
Fitness Equipment
To equip all 14 fire stations with essential training spaces to ensure our firefighters are physically and emotionally healthy.
Technology and Logistics
The supplies that enable day-to-day operations.
Benevolent Support
Directly supporting SLCFD, community programs, recruitment efforts, and nationwide competitions that raise money for other fire department-related causes.
Share our Vision
We envision a future for the Salt Lake City Fire Department where every member is fully supported and equipped with the training and tools to serve with excellence and integrity—creating a safer, more resilient city that proudly serves both the department and the community.
